At the headquarters of the Provincial Government, the Vice Governor of Holguin, Yunia Perez Hernandez, welcomed Sir George Hollingbery, ambassador of the United Kingdom in Cuba, as well as the commission accompanying him.

The long-awaited Romerías de Mayo arrived to the streets and squares of the Cuban city of Holguin, with the enticement that the participation of the people would be massive, after the sustained control of covid-19.
Diplomats from the European Union accredited in Cuba arrived in Holguín determined to know more closely the reality of this province, and at the same time to channel a greater integration between both peoples, as well as possible collaborations and investments.
If only the more than 250 thousand people from Holguin who paraded this May 1st in the nicknamed Cuban City of Parks were counted, it would be enough to qualify the celebration of the workers' fiesta as massive, but if it is added that the province totaled more than 400 thousand, then that a river of people: enthusiastic, committed and united, showed that in Cuba the campaigns calling for immobility are not valid when it comes to saying yes for the Homeland.
