The entities and organizations of the territory with the greatest incidence in the Task, and those that generate the greatest amount of concern up to now, took part in the meeting, together with the 14 municipalities of Holguin through the videoconference system.
The meeting helped leaders get clear about vacancies, in order to improve employment opportunities for families identified as vulnerable.
It was said the the priority within the Task Order is to fill vacancies in the production of goods and services, which will then
allow growth in the budgeted sector. The same should happen with the budgeted agencies of National Subordination.
"Since December 10, more than 3,500 people applied for jobs in our province, hence the need to complete the positions in the productive sector to boost the country's economy," said governor Julio Cesar Estupiñan Rodriguez.
Of the number of people who applied for work, about 1,500 are already located. But there is still the need to better exploit the potential of the province.
For example, today in the province there are more than 16 thousand idle hectares, as well as a considerable number in the agriculture and construction sectors, whose results directly affect the production of goods and services.
Regarding the main cncerns of the population received through the different channels, Alberto Leyva, coordinator for the Government's Economic Programs, explained the treatment given to the workers who, for different reasons, had yet to receive their advance payment, as well as the availability of places in Holguín at present.
In the case of the concerns of the entities and agencies regarding the process of Ordering, an electronic address was created from which they will clarify their questions.
Regarding the economy of the province, Manuel Cuenca, provincial director of Economy and Planning in the territory, explained that sales are estimated at 23 billion pesos, when the average sales were around 7 billion.
