And if it's about birthdays, this November many congratulations in the social networks went for a universal Holguin actor, whom everyone respects and admires, the multifaceted actor Osvaldo Doimeadios Aguilera, who was born on November 26, 1964 in the nicknamed Cuban City of Parks.

And this 2020 he presented us with a character to remember long in the series Lucha Contra Bandidos, or LCB: La otra guerra 2, and about which he affirmed with immense pleasure ''I fell in love with Mongo Castillo".

The repercussion of Doimeadios's performance was so great, that his last dialogue with his grandson was quoted by the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, to refer to the commendable work of the health personnel before the Covid-19: I was not a hero, but I was among them.

And in that very series, a first-rate actor, who was born in Santiago de Cuba but grew up in Holguin, Fernando Hechevarria, stood out, along with his character as Gallito, which stood out as one of his best performances, embodying a militia chief who fought with daring and fine mischief, and who harangued his men to fight but taking care of themselves because life was the gift to be preserved in order to continue in the struggle, while risking himself alongside them.

And a minor character for his short presence in the series, but just as charming was the young actor Victor Alfredo Cruz Fernandez, who played a teacher sent to teach the militia to read and write, illiterate people from the recently defeated regime, which is why they defended their present and the future of their children.

Well, it is that Huberal Herrera, Osvaldo Doimeadios, Fernando Hechevarria , Felix Beaton or Victor Alfredo Cruz Fernandez have been applauded by the public for their work in LCB 2: the other war and in all the dramatized ones they have participated. The fact is that Holguin and its children, from the stage and melodies are still in a state of grace, and it seems that for a long time they have been satisfied with what they were born here or have adopted it as their second home.
