Professor and historian Alexander Abreu spoke about some passages of Fidel Castro's life and exchanged views on his work and thoughts.
"Biran seems to be a remote place, and one thinks in the midst of silence reigning around, one may wonder how such a big person would be born there? His thought, a true Marti goer, exceeded the dimensions of the place," he said.
" This people has lived with morals, because the Commander educated us with morals", he concluded.
Governor Julio Cesar Estupiñan Rodriguez referred to the significance of taking our history and Fidel's work to the youth. "We must convey to our young people and students very clearly why we need to defend the Revolution. I also praise Professor Alexander, for the passages that he shared with us, and that we didn't know. Thank you for your words," he concluded.
