The magazine of the Province of Holguín, could not be born with a better name tan his, so that when he falls into his hands, he will suddenly know who reads, what is being talked about and what is beautiful about him.
In its pages, the reader will find illustrious children who take the name of their land to the top of Cuba and the world. To its most beautiful traditions and cultural events, to its natural landscapes, and to the effort we make to achieve the Holguín better we want to continue building all together.
It also serves the space to recognize how much is done for its economy, to improve the lives of those who inhabit it. Always, with the premise that there is no greater truth than that built with self-effort and honor.

The Assembly of People’s Power is the local higher body of state power, and, consequently, is vested with the highest authority for the exercise of state functions in their respective demarcations and for this, within the framework of their competence, and in accordance with the law, they exercise government.
Its mission is to strengthen and ratify the trust and recognition of our people, reaching a high level of economic and social development through the execution and solution of the approaches made by the population, in addition to supporting the entire process of implementation of the Guidelines of the Party and the Revolution.
For the exercise of its functions, it relies on the Work Commissions, the People's Councils, the Board of Directors, as well as on the initiative and broad participation of the population, in close coordination with the mass and social organizations.
